Many years ago, I had an idea for a video game. The idea was that you were a forgotten god who had one single human avatar.

The whole game is you using your godly powers to put obstacles, enemies, and other challenges in the avatar’s path to strengthen them so they can defeat whatever the final battle is.

I still think about it.
