If You Open the Door, Turn To Page ■■■■

The book I want to write is like a Choose Your Own Adventure book, except all the page numbers you have to turn to when you make a choice are redacted.
You are left to flip through the book, searching for the narrative that seems to fit what you were building with the fewest conceptual leaps. Once you choose, the story so far self-destructs and you are left only with a memory.
You can never truly know if you were on the right path.
